They are quickly proving that their strong start was due almost exclusively to their weak schedule. Could they possible have any more turnovers? I mean christ… I can barely stomach watching these last few games.
Grossman needs to settle the fuck down and start throwing the ball out of bounds instead of down field when he’s afraid of getting sacked.
Even if they manage to win tonight after their atrocious start I still think they need to rethink their passnomatterwhatthefuckthefieldlookslike strategy.
Grossman isn’t overrated. At least for a high school quarterback. Usually the Bears can count on their defense to be good but you can’t win on defense alone. Unless you are playing the Cards.
Their offense came alive a little bit at the end of the first half and they moved the ball inside the 5 yard line on the first drive of the second half until they fumbled it. The defense has been stout and almost got a safety a few minutes ago. They’re only three points behind and they seem to have nine lives this season with some improbable comebacks against the Vkings and the Cardinals. I’d still bet on the Bears tonight.
It must be a sign of the Apocalypse. You are actually saying something I want to hear?!?! I may never agree with your political views but I like the fact that are supporting the Bears. I could almost go with you to a bar and watch the game with you. Just don’t talk politics!
Man, did the Giants fall asleep on that play. I’m not even sure that Hester intended to fake them out. I think it might have just taken a second before the light came on and he realized he could run it back.
I was at the game last year where Vasher did the same thing, and they both reacted the same - hesitating then realizing they could make something of it. From my seats in the SE corner, we couldn’t appreciate how badly the 49ers FG attempt fluttered until we saw it on TV at home.
Was that Madden or the other guy - I heard but didn’t pay attention to the voice (Thank you Dr. Percocet) that said about Grossman that “…you just have to stick with him…” for good or bad.
He’s going to do dumb things, but if/when he learns some composure, he’ll probably be pretty dangerous, and not JUST for the Bears offense.
I’m glad Bradley is getting reps and chances - it’s about time. He’s as fast as Berrian, it would be nice to see this be his breakout game.
