Well, UCLA is the all-time NCAA champion of all time with 87 titles to it’s name. But let’s be fair and say that if we toss in both UCLA and USC then it’s no contest, even limiting it to the big three in collegiate sports.
Of course, to spread the love to all California, UCLA is #1, Stanford #2, and USC #3 in all time NCAA rankings.
I hate to nitpick in the pit, but…
UCLA has 11 basketball championships, none in football or baseball.
Southern Cal has 5 in footbal, 12 in baseball.
Ohio State has 1 in baseball, 1 in basketball, 6 in football (counting 1942, which is just over 60 years).
Cincinnati also has 2 in basketball (interestingly enough, both final wins over Ohio State).
