Ok, this is out of form for me, but I’m going to start a thread. My threads are notoriously ignored, but I need to get this off my chest before I leave for work…
Drivers, PAY ATTENTION!
I’m sick and tired of watching you cut people off. I’m disgusted by your talking on the damned phone while drinking a Starbucks and typing on your PDA while moving in traffic. THe worst, and I’m sure most of you agree…USE YOUR FUCKING TURN SIGNALS!
They are not, I repeat NOT an option on your car, so use the fuckers! I drive a half-ton truck. It’s big(not huge). It weighs somewhere areound 4600 pounds. If you keep abruptly braking in front of me and turning right, I’m going to crush your econo-shitbox. And after that, I’ll drag you from it and wring your stupid fucking neck!
It’s the biggest problem in this area. Bigger than asshole women in SUVs. Bigger than little Asian girls in their Hondas who seem to drive in their own little fog*. Bigger than older people who seem to drive in terror and over-react to every little thing they see on the road. Even bigger than Agressive asshole male drivers who just love to cut your ass off and cause bedlam in their wake.
Christ. I hate driving! Ok, really I love driving, but I hate other drivers. They’re rude, nasty, pissy, evil, and stupid.

*- About a month ago, there was a speed trap at an intersection near my house. I was at the gas station when I saw a white Honda run a red light…but she saw the bike cop too late. She brake and stopped with the front of her car in the intersection. Said cop turned on his lights and left the sidewalk where he was perched and pulled in behind the girl.
What does the girl do? Does she make a right turn and pull into the gas station? Does she continue through the intersection to get both her and the policeman out of harms way?
No. Nope, she didn’t. She promptly put it into reverse and damned near ran over the cop and his bike. Knocked the bike over and royally pissed the cop off is what she did.
