…How do they feel about nice American boys?
Love it – kiss your Aryan Brotherhood prison protection goodbye, you race-traitor, you.
Well hey, what red-blooded male HASN’T lain awake thinking of a night of passion with Golda Meir…?
Great name for a Klezmer band.
I’d rather think they spend more time thinking of the likes of her.
On a serious note, are the Ku Klux Klan really anti-Jew? I confess being from outside N America I know little about them, but from what I have read, they are much more anti-black.
They’re anti-non-white-Protestant.
There have been several groups under the name “Ku Klux Klan”. The original KKK was founded right after the Civil War; it was an exclusively Southern organization dedicated to upholding white supremacy and preventing the newly freed slaves from actually being able to exercise the political rights that were theoretically being extended to them under Reconstruction after the war. The first KKK was suppressed by the federal government, although unfortunately its goals were largely met, as Reconstruction was betrayed and blacks were stripped of their political and many civil rights for another century or so. I doubt the original Klan was notably more anti-Semitic than any other group of 19th Century white Protestant males.
The second KKK was founded in 1915; it was nativist (anti-immigrant) as well as anti-black, and therefore was anti-Catholic and anti-Semitic from the start. The second KKK rapidly spread beyond the South and was strong throughout the country–it achieved considerable political power in Indiana, for example. Existing KKK organizations trace back to this second Klan rather than directly to the original Klan of Reconstruction; over the years the KKK has experienced many ups and downs and has splintered into numerous rival organizations. In some times and places–say, 1950s small-town Mississippi–individual Klansmen would have probably been more concerned about “uppity” blacks than about Jews (very few of which would have been around in 1950s small-town Mississippi), but I believe all of the descedants of the second KKK have been avowedly in favor of white Protestant supremacy over blacks, Jews, or Catholics. Certainly almost any surviving KKK group in the 21st Century is unlikely to look with favor on one of its members moving to Tel Aviv and shacking up with a nice Jewish girl.
Actually, it was for self-preservation reasons. She thought he might sue for custody of the child, and then the KKK would take her baby away.
Interestingly, according to the Hebrew-language papers (can’t find an English cite), Mayon has stated that he intends to fight his extradition on the basis of the fact that he has a family in Israel.
The girl has stated in response that she intends to terminate the pregnancy.
As far as Israelis are concerned… let’s put it this way: the Israeli press regularly refers to all white-supremacy groups (KKK, Aryan Nation, Chirstian Identity, skinheads etc.) as “Neo-Nazis.” We honestly can’t be bothered to tell them apart.
If the woman is oridinarily pro-choice, I guess I don’t have an issue with this. But if not, interesting is the least of the words I’d use.
I’ve never met an Israeli who wasn’t “pro-choice”. It’s barely an issue here.
That’s interesting. No fervent anti-abortion lobby amongst the Orthodox at least?
The Halacha is quite clear on the issue: life begins at birth.
Beside, Orthodox society can be rather traditional. Any hesitations they may have about abortion are outweighed by the need to avoid the shame of bearing a child out of wedlock.
That’s even more interesting. Thanks :).
He went there for the waters.
He was misinformed.
This horrific thought was such a trauma that now she wants to be sedated…
Trouble is, he now has it reinforced to him- you can’t trust the Jews.
I do appreciate the multiple cites about Hot Israeli Women, but there are too many uniforms.
Here are a few pics of Israeli girls out of uniform, so to speak:
