A pair of sick fucks, that is. These two lovely people murdered four people (that we know of) in three states over the course of a few days. Two of them were the guy’s father and stepmother. He says the father molested a couple of family members and stepmom supported him even though she knew about it. Okay, maybe that’s so. He shot his father, and the girlfriend slit mom’s throat with two knives.
But the other two people were random strangers. One young man of 19 years old was murdered because these white supremacist fucks “thought his last name sounded Jewish” (his words in his confession to the CA cops). Life over at nineteen because he happened to cross paths with these assholes as he was on his way to the Jazz Fest in Newport, OR. The fourth man was a black man. Apparently that was all that was necessary for this guy, who, at 31, just recently got out of a 17-year stretch in prison, where I’m sure the Aryan Nation boys just loved indoctrinating him into the joys of Jew-hating. The cops caught them because they were still driving the young man’s car. They told the cops that they were on their way to Sacramento to “kill more Jews”.
It’s scary what’s right outside your door, isn’t it? A random encounter with a stranger can lead to something right out of a Rob Zombie movie. We were in Newport the day these fuckers were taking away the future of a young man who loved music and who was unwary enough to trust two people who probably seemed harmless enough. We were probably right behind them as they drove down the coast: us on our way to the Redwoods and they on their way to slaughter a black gentleman who had no idea that a freight train was headed his way on a collision course.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot the last couple of days. I stopped carrying a weapon in the RV when we left Alaska, because I only thought about bears when we were camping up there. I’m normally a very cautious and security-minded person. I keep an eye on people who seem “off” to me and I avoid situations that may be iffy. But I think perhaps the shotgun needs to go back in the motor home, even though one really doesn’t stand much of a chance against this sort of random mayhem. It saddens me that my view of humanity, which wasn’t all that good to begin with, has been further damaged by these fucking racist anti-Semites. There is no hell, but I hope prison makes it seem like there is. For Peterson, he’s just returning home; but perhaps this time he won’t be there all that long, since both Washington and Oregon have the death penalty. This is one person who should never see daylight again.
Holy cow! I know a David Pedersen in Oregon, though the guy in the story is about thirty years too young and his beard is about two feet too short to be the same guy. Still, I did a double take reading the story.
You’ve been here long enough to know about these kind of threads. What else is there to say about them? OH my GOD…this is horrific! I’m outraged! These bastards! They’re sick!
Yeah, I get the “point” of what happened. Everyone does.
Oh. Well in that case, I propose that we work to increase awareness of the Jewish culture so that fewer [del]innocents[/del] gentiles will be killed by incompetent white supremacists.
I debated putting this in IMHO rather than the pit, but that seemed too much like giving them a break (or something). The randomness of this is what’s really bothering me, along with the loss of lives. This sort of thing happens all too often in this country, but this one hit closer to home. The guy is a true sociopath, showing zero remorse and very matter-of-factly admitting to the killings. He also is insisting that the woman was just doing his bidding and shouldn’t be prosecuted, which is another indication of a sociopath’s personality. This is a scary dude and the cops are lucky that he wasn’t too bright or there would have been a much higher body count.
My poor Oregon… I left you a couple years ago and everything goes to shit. Newport is such a nice little town.
We can only hope that these murderers come to understand what they have done and ask for forgiveness, and that hopefully they can have a positive influence on other people by letting them know how wrong it is to go around and hate people and kill them.
Of course, the odds of that happening are probably the same odds of me winning the lottery (which I never play).
We have all seen this movie before. “Badlands” with Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek as Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate in 1958. Another pair of sick fucks, aimless killings and romance. It’s only a matter of time before the movie rights are sold.
“Meyer” is a fairly common Jewish surname. I don’t think a pair of white supremacists are going to be concerned (or even aware) of the presence or lack of an “s”.
These people are neurologically defective; they’re basically natural predators. Getting too upset about them is like getting upset about a lion or a cobra. The vast majority of humankind is not like them, but there is a very small number of people who basically lack a conscience and enjoy killing for fun. All we can do is try to eliminate them from the gene pool.
Actually that’s a fairly common claim, and one reason women are harder to convict of crimes; there’s usually some man in her life willing to take the fall. Although in this case self sacrifice is unlikely to be the motive.
I had to look up “14 words”. My eyes now feel gritty…
I realize that incredulity is the most common reaction from families, but
This is someone who is very, very fucked up - and she up and abandoned her “little aryan warrior”, which seems a hint that she wasn’t as dedicated to her family as others thought. Hopefully her husband will be a better father than she’s a mother.
I love how the family says they’re just so shocked that their daughter, the awesome mom, would do something like this right before telling us she gave birth to her son while she was in prison and called him her “little aryan warrior” on her FB page. Yeah, she was a real sweetheart.
Edit: Haha, Nava, I didn’t even see your comment until after I’d posted. I guess we had the same thought about this woman.
