FULL DOUBLE Rainbow!!!

An interview with the original Youtube uploader and filmer!

I could only watch about half of the double rainbow multiple orgasm video.
I also can not stand to talk to stoned people.

Yeah, I and the other people in the car with me when we saw a double rainbow crossed over another rainbow were going completely nuts, we were really excited. It would probably be just as silly as this video if we had recorded ourselves.

I had to watch it with the volume muted. Dude was freaking me out.

I hate to think how he would react to the rainbow I saw a few days ago. It was a true full double rainbow, ie, it was circular (and double.)

I cannot help but imagine what sex with this guy would be like. It’s not that I WANT to imagine it, but sometimes my brain insists on meandering down certain pathways whether I want it to or not.

They interviewed this guy on As it Happens last night. I didn’t catch it, though.

I think the guy is awesome. I love being around people like him.

I’m pretty sure half would be plenty…

I have had unanticipated emotional reactions to evidence of the glories of nature. What I haven’t done is recorded or shared them.

I did. He swears he wasn’t stoned. He also says he does smoke pot (for medicinal purposes ;)), but that he definitely was not stoned during this particular video.

I’m at work and can’t see it, but I heard him on the radio interview, and he sounded like a pretty neat dude.

ETA: I agree with Rushgeekgirl.

My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So is it now I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
The Child is father of the Man;
I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety.

That’s some William Wordsworth for you there. Rainbow guy is my new hero, and I’ll bet he doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks.

If he thought it put him in a *better *light to say he wasn’t stoned---- it didn’t.

This post is the most sanctimonious of the lot, but is not the only comment above that suggests that anyone who laughs at the video is to be judged as lacking in either compassion, ability to appreciate nature’s wonders, or both.

I beg to differ. Yes, I thought the guy who made that video was hysterical. I think kittens who fall over their own feet chasing butterflies are hysterical as well. Sometimes I find my own son, when he thinks he’s being very grown-up and makes pronouncements filled with big words, hysterical.

Further, I appreciate rainbows. I am (if we stretch the meaning of the preposition to near the breaking point) from Hawaii’s Big Island, and we have the best rainbows in the world there. If my life passes before my eyes when I die, some of the prominent scenes are going to involve rainbows and other spectacular scenes from the Big Island.

Laughter need not be equated with contempt.

But all too often in this society that exact kind of cynical mocking (which isn’t necessarily the attitude of anyone in this specific thread) is what the more sensitive of us sometimes has to endure (in my case, for most of my life, tho it doesn’t/wouldn’t bother me anymore). Oh by the way I chuckled a bit at it at first too. Call me sanctimonious if you wish, but we need more people on this planet who can truly appreciate it.

The fact that he’s blown away by the rainbow is beautiful.

The fact that he’s high as fuck is hilarious.

That’s why the video works.

I think CairoCarol and Cisco both enjoy this video the way I did- Dude is awesome yet hilarious. To deny that there is a healthy dose of pure cynical mocking in the popularity of this video is pretty myopic though. A lot of people miss the beauty in Rainbow Dude’s reaction and if some get a little sanctimonious in pointing out that he rocks… well… tough shit.

I live up in the mountains – it’s really damn pretty here. Every time I look outside, part of me says, “Wow.” I still can’t comprehend that I actually get to live here. I expect my internal dialogue concerning this valley would sound pretty much like this guy if I expressed it out loud.

I totally get his awe. I also found it as spoken, hilarious. The two don’t exclude each other.

It was pretty. The vocal part of the video made me laugh. It sounds like the backround to a “Girls Gone Wild” Video"

From the pictures of this rainbow guy, any recent Ron Jeremy video might be somewhat representative–at least in terms of height, weight, and hair.

1.3 Million views on Youtube for this song. It’s actually a good song in its own right! They added some drums and a kickass synth track. I’m addicted to it haha.
