Fun with kids and critters -- a cute pix thread

As if we haven’t had enough of these before… But hey! You can never have too many cute pix of critters and kids having fun together, right?
Right?
Huh. Well, I’m going to start another one anyway.
So. We have a Big Critter and a Little Kid. The Big Critter could yank the kid’s arm off and otherwise say the hell with him if he felt like it. But BC likes kids, likes toting them around, and asks nothing more in return than love. Well, okay, that and maybe some good stuff to eat. A fellow has to keep his strength up, after all. So Big Critter hopefully contemplates his reward, cheerfully bears his little burden, and happily enjoys his thanks, even if it’s just a belly scratch.

You don’t think that’s cute enough? :dubious: Well, all right, then, whatchoo got?

Beautiful horse, and cute kid! Makes me miss the days when I used to ride…!

I don’t have any cute kids, nor do I have pictures of any cute kids that I know with any critters, but I do have pictures of critters.

Meet Bree
Oreo
and Boris

Bree is my cat, Oreo belongs to my aunt (but stayed a couple weeks at our house back in October) and Boris belongs to my sister. They are not related at all, we just happened to come across three different cats that look quite a bit alike that all needed homes! Bree is 4 years old, adopted in Hamilton, Ontario. Oreo is 9, from Sherbrooke, Québec, and Boris is 3 (and a pain in the ass) from Charlottetown PEI!

I’ve been slacking with updating my web site with pics of my daughter for the simple reason that she’s been cutting so many teeth the past few weeks. That leads to lots of red, splotchy cheeks and runny noses – not the most photogenic moments. However, I did get a few good ones of Shayla last week. We’ve also got her, her daddy and some of her friends dancing on the big piano at FAO Schwartz a few weeks back.

Aaaaand, now that I reread the OP, I see that this is supposed to be for pics of kids and pets together. :smack:

Well, I haven’t taken any recent pics like that (you have to go back to last April for one of those), but I do have a cute story:

My wife and I were making dinner yesterday, and Shayla was in the kitchen playing as well. My wife was slicing up some meat, when the dog came in and starting jumping and begging. My wife turned to him and yelled “Billy, knock it off!”

Immediately, Shayla toddles over to him, jabs a finger at his snout and yells “Dog! Blarg seesh babble gobble goo!”

Gotta love this age.

I have no kids, but I do have plenty of cute cat pictures.

This is Spelunker.

This is Runt. Here is the side of her most people see, if they even see her at all. She hates pretty much everyone but me. I was able to get a couple pictures of my husband with her. His eyes are closed because he is waiting for her to lay open a vein or two.

This is Hitler. She and Runt are the two females and for the most part, they get along

Here we have Norman Bates. AKA, Fatboy, Fatty McFatterson, or in this picture No Face Norman.

I might have gone a little overboard, but I really don’t have much of a life. Friends always tell me that I going to end up the crazy cat lady. Sitting on my porch in my rocking chair with my jug of hooch, a shotgun and fifty-seven cats climbing on me, yelling at the neighborhood kids to get off my lawn…sounds good to me.
