Fun With Spammers

Inspired by a recent article written by a man who bills spammers for time and resources, I’ve started to play with people who send me unsolicited e-mail. Specifically, whenever a web site is promoted, I do a whois lookup to find their contact information and get creative from there.

For example, earlier today I signed up a bunch of spammers for free stuff from Jack Chick’s web site. I expect they’ll enjoy snailmail delivery of Jack’s catalog and assorted other brochures.

I also did them the favor of signing them up for inspirational christian mailing lists (they were porn spammers).

So, what other nastiness can you guys think up? I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface here.

I used to send hilarious “I’m Offended” replies back to the spammers. Remember when that “YOUR DICK TEARING GIRLS HOLES APART” thing was going around?

I hit the “Reply” button and fired off this:

Although they’d probably notice that the e-mail was coming from somebody named “Katherine.” Dang.
