That she (?) was accusing me of religious bigotry, which I do not deny. I am proud to be an anti-Yahvist religious bigot, for reasons I have already explained. The Yahvist religions do have some practical value, but no spiritual value. What true spiritual value might be I do not claim to know, but I know it has nothing to do with Yahvism.
Madeleine L’Engle writes interestingly about that very point in one of her non-fiction books. A student wrote a short story about Abraham and Isaac from the point of view of an angel, congratulating God.
God says, “You don’t understand. He failed the test. He chose law over love.”
