Fundy how... [I'm looking for a Pit thread]

This isn’t a Pit in itself, as such, but I know the thread I’m looking for was posted in the Pit, and I can’t find the friggin’ thing now. I figure if I put this in MPSIMs I’ll miss the Pit audience who’ll know the answer.

You’d think that we could search for “Fundy how”, wouldn’t you - but nooooo, ‘how’ is a three-letter word, so I can either trawl through a zillion threads armed only with the word 'fundy, or I can hope someone here bookmarked it. I’m going with the latter option.

ANYWAY, getting to the point: I just got sent the ‘Funny how…’ glurgemail, and really wanted to find the response to this that someone made.

Anyone know where this thread may be found?

I’m afraid the one I’m looking for had a whole ‘Fundy how…’ parody of the original glurge, though.

pieces of spam about jesus
to people who will despise you for it,
and then wonder why you have no friends.

Fundie how people bitch about
the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene,
passing freely through cyberspace,
saying that it shouldn’t be in public,
but don’t understand that many people
don’t want Jebus in the school and workplace.
Fundie, isn’t it?

Fundie how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday,
and be a pain in the ass Christian the rest of the week.
Fundie how when you go to forward this message, you will send it to far too many on your address list because you don’t care what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.

Fundie how some people can be so arrogant,
that they think everyone should be exactly like them,
and that everyone should give a rat’s ass what they think.

(And I’m *awfully *impressed that you managed to come up with the answer, given that I not only had the board completely wrong, but also misspelled ‘fundie’ into the bargain. At least now I know why I couldn’t find it even after a couple of hours spent scavenging through the ‘fundie’ posts here!)
