Funniest AI Legos

I could use a masge. This is an awesome thread, worthy of threadspotting.

Suggestions: Titanic, Covid clinic, Iwo Jima, Great Wall of China, Everest, Jupiter, Turkmenistan, Asterix Village, Tintin and The Black Lotus, tequila, Olympic bobsled jousting, Ms. Pac-Man…

And it doesn’t even mention the quote that most famously actually does make it into writing on walls, many many times?

Roboti eunt domo. We don’t need you here.

Alright, which one of you on the SDSAB is an albino chef?

The one giving all the advist.

Lego Epidemic box set. Apparently victims turn into octopods.

Why does the AI seem to routinely slightly misspell key words, despite the fact that y’all are presumably typing in the exact key words that the AI is using? Is it maybe some algorithm built in to prevent possible copyright violations?

See discussion upthread.

This thread is easily the funniest thing I have read in a long time (why the flying car in “I Burning Your Dog”?) If I could get my title changed to “Advistory Bloard” I would die happy.

Odd request, but here you go.

It is less chaotic if you limit your choices.

Ah, OK, interesting, thanks. So, as AI development now stands, it seems separate AIs are developed to have certain ‘specialties’ such as an ‘image AI’ and a ‘Language AI’. Similar to how different regions of our brain do different things. Once a ‘prefrontal cortex AI’ is developed, we’re all in trouble!

I could totally see that as an actual Olympic sport. Just have the bobsled track on a double curve, similar to a skateboard track, with a lane divider, so the bobsleds pass each other at the bottom. I bet ratings would triple.

For a simple explanation of how diffusion-based AI image generators work, try this.

(Okay, I lied, it is really, really, really not simple. But it’ll give you an idea about why text isn’t easy.)

There’s a Titanic upthread. And Lego sells an actual (non sinking) Titanic model which is mentioned in the OP. It’s > 4’ long and more than 10k pieces.

Lego also sells a real Great Wall kit.

You could swipe my lego pic and make it the “profile header” in your profile. See my profile for an example.

I want to know why there’s no dog burning. I managed a couple versions where there was, but it seemed cruel and the AI corrected the “I” to “I’m”, where half the fun is the fractured English.

The only thing better than Olympic bobsledding jousting is team Olympic bobsled jousting. Thanks, very funny.

Donkey Kong bobsled jousting on Mount Everest.

Zelda covid pole vaulting on Mount Rushmore.

Thanks! Will read when I’m feeling a little mentally sharper than right at the moment :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sinking of the Hindenburg. Darn those flying icebergs!
