I… don’t get it.
Phosphorus and an ammonium cation…not sure why that’s funny.
Pandemonium.
Sheesh.
Today, on a Toyota with a parachuting club rear-window decal: JUMP MAN.
There is a Mini Cooper with the Ontario License plate “SHELDON.”
Driving down the DVP, my partner is just familiar enough with lolcats for us both to laught when we saw the plate: “OH HAI”
Just seen this morning: EAT RITE (a dietician or doctor?) and UNO U CME (“You know you see me”).
If I lived in a place where the only plate required was on the back, I’d get KTHXBAI as that, my official plate, and on the front put a non-official vanity plate reading IAH HO. ![]()
My last Michigan plate was “IBSMILN” (I be smilin’).
People would actually check…
(seen at the Robbie Burns supper last night, a big Scottish gathering)
GR8SCOT
The best one I’ve seen was years ago in BC Canada, on a Porsche -
ORNUNVS
Oh, aren’t you envious
This was a close second.
Earlier today I saw SNOMN.
I’m writing them down on a notepad in my car now. Seen the past few weeks:
BRAINS - A zombie or a surgeon?
SA C BLU - “Sassy blue”?
SCHMALZY
XY XY XX - A geneticist?
LID LESS
PUNCHBG - On a VW Bug, of course.
CAKEFCE - “Cakeface”
WLVRENE - Didn’t get a look at his hands.
HANDBAG - Another VW.
CHUSEN8 - “Choose an eight”?
Sacre Bleu? A light French curse, similar to “Holy Smokes”
Not funny but over the weekend I saw PA tags
YH8 4GV
loved it!
This is a good place to ask for suggestions for a vanity plate for my new car. It’s a silver Kia Forte. “PIANO” is not available.
ISSIMI? (or issimo or issima )
I remember many years ago, when I was working for the county data processing on welfare systems – a fellow worker and I were going to a meeting and saw a car with vanity plates “ON WLFR”. And it was a big, fancy car – a Cadillac or Lincoln type. We looked at each other and said ‘now there’s a car just asking to be pulled over by a cop’.
Can anyone explain why FEATURE on a VW Bug is funny? Thanks.
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature?
I saw one the other day that made me snort out loud - 8 UNCUT. I think somebody got away with a dirty one.
