Let’s face it. Most ads on web pages are ignored. The only ones I really don’t avoid are the ones that are very clever. Just saw a very funny one from some company (Duluth Trading) advertising work pants. with cartoon of pants vs. giant angry beaver. I loved it.

Anyone else seen a web ad clever or funny enough for them to pay attention?

First, if you’ve visited a gaming site in the last year or two, you’ve seen a banner or sidebar ad for Evony. And the ads are pretty terrible.
