Think you guys are being a bit too hard on this. For one thing it’s an idle tap game, play it in short bursts 3 times a day and the timers aren’t really an issue.
I’ve spent $2 so far to buy 50 pizza so I could buy one additional building / clearing robot. That really speeds things up being able to clear / build two things at a time.
With the events I imagine they are going to come back around again, eg Pimparoo will be up again for another weekend in future and when you have more crew it will be possible to complete it in the time without spending money. I’ve now unlocked the second area (Central park) and have crew of Bender, Scruffy, Amy, Professor, Hedonism Bot, Fry and then Robot Fry and Pharoah Bender outfits. Should have Kif very soon as well as golden bender.
They’ve now got a five day George Takei event going and it seems pretty likely I can finish it without spending money with the crew I have. The Takei event is also giving way more Hypnotons than the usual missions allowing me to clear more areas faster. Anyway I’m enjoying it as something to pick up a couple times a day. (but yes always don’t allow the app to send push notifications, thats just common sense).
Yeah, I was able to get him too. The space missions are a different matter entirely, but I guess those are just for a bonus decoration and some extra resources so it’s not as bad if I can’t finish them in time.
Anyone still playing this? I thought I may sort of be on track for the bee bender costume, but there doesn’t seem to be enough pollen in space. Once you get the ‘free’ pollen you only get it in onesies, twosies while fighting in on a dark matter eating space voyage. Am I missing something?
Yeah, I’m at the same place, apparently pollen drops from fights are really random and I haven’t had much luck with them so far. Main thing to me is to grab the 20 pizza from the space mission though, I’m not really that invested in getting a costume that’s only going to be used for one mission.
I got 100% on that on mission and was still short on pollen. Had to go through one more time and tried to pick a path with the most battles. You get five pollen regardless every time you finish that mission, the amount you get from battles seems random.
This was part of the frustration that made me stop playing family guy. Unknown end times to timed events. I think sometimes you got a 4 hour countdown at the end or something.
I also don’t see any way to find out how much pollen you have left until the game stops letting you try to make more honey.
Cool, I should be able to make that work, I’m finishing up the last batch of honey right now. The second space mission gives 10 pizza so at least that’s worth pursuing.
