Futuristic car ID

I saw this photo in a meme today.

I can’t find anything about it. It would be nice to know about the house, but I’m curious as to the year, make, and model of the car; and any other information on it.

Here’s the house.

Built in 1972 .
I haven’t found anything about the car yet.

Cool. Not a great design for the carport, though.

I’m guessing that it is a mock-up with no interior to speak of and no motor, and that if you tried to move it you would have a pile of aluminum on the ground.

The car looks better made than the house.

The car looks like a cross between the GM Firebird III concept car with a 1950 Studebaker Champion nose - using the “greenhouse” from a 1960’s coupe.

Possibly a Packard concept car?

I’d agree. The bodywork looks very amateurish in workmanship.

I think Google Lens found the car:

Good detective work!

Heh. I thought the windshield and top looked like a Miata…

Here’s a good picture of the “CARvid-19”.

That looks like a lowrider version of an Airstream.

Guessing you’re not going to have a very tight turning radius with the front wheels covered like that.

There is a lot of Miata in there. The original had an aluminium bonnet, looks as if it was just stripped and polished, and you can see the original pop-up headlights, just with aluminium covers. Original wheels poking out under there as well.

The owner said he inherited it from his late father. I now officially feel old. I owned a 1990 Miata from new. I still miss it some days.
