Gah! I'm bleeding out through my right earlobe!

…well, not really.

But I did have a small cut on it. I’m not even sure how it happened, though it must have occurred at least a week ago.

Today I absent-mindedly scratched at the scab. It didn’t hurt at all.

Ten minutes later I have a strange, wet sensation on my neck. I touch it, only to find my hand covered in blood.

I head into the bathroom - I look like a murder victim. Blood from my ear all the way down to my neck. Gah!

I mop it up, wash as best as I can.

Now - four hours later. The dried blood on my earlobe is an annoyance. “I’ll just scratch a little bit of it off,” I think.

How foolish.

Now I’m bleeding again. I’d swear there was a major artery in that little earlobe. I’ve now gone through two shirts today, and again I look like I’ve had my throat slit.

What the hell, earlobe?

All head wounds bleed amazingly copious amounts.

Let it scab, clean it up, put a band aid over it, and leave it alone until it really heals up.

Or–what the heck?–have some fun. Scratch it again and let that baby bleed. Get your shirt well and properly soaked with blood, and smear it all over your throat. Then knock on the neighbor’s door and ask to borrow a band-aid.

Or, better yet, knock on the neighbor’s door and say, “Your cat’s in a pretty pissy mood today…”

I think I might try giving the (small) wound a good scratch.

Let it bleed nicely for a bit.

Then call on my new neighbors:

"OHMYGOD JESUS CHRIST MAN YOU HAVE TO CALL 911 MY GIRLFRIEND CUT MY BAD OH SHIT I’M DYING MAN OH GOD AAAARRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
