Just saw a TV commercial, of all things, for this: Recurring Dream: Morpheus Returns In Gaiman’s ‘Sandman’ Prequel.
Anybody excited about this? I thought it was an pretty good series.
Wow, I’m very excited about this. If it were anyone else mining their old characters, I’d be suspicious. I think Gaiman has enough invested in his characters that I don’t think he’d do it unless he had something for them to say.
Great news! I’ve read the series a few times, and wondered about what happened before it started.

FTR, the first issue of Overture came out a couple weeks ago.
And it’s very good.
TV commercial is a bit odd, but DC really doesn’t have much going for it right now, so they may be getting desperate.
The first issue is interesting, somewhat startling, and the artwork is good. Unfortunately, it’s bimonthly. 
Hate to tell you this, but issue #2 has been pushed back to February.
