I’m with tangent on the CompUSA checkout girl – she’s next-door cute.
I also like the redhaired lady vet in the flea-and-tick collar commercials. She just looks smart, and funny, and oh-so-patient. Funny thing – I have no idea what the product really is!
On WGN perhaps 20 years ago, there was a floor covering commercial that ran quite often…like Tile Outlet or Tile Express or something. They had a pitch girl that wasn’t particularly good at reading her lines, but she sure was cute. She was replaced by a more polished version that wasn’t nearly as sexy.
On a more contemporary commercial…the girl on the Direct TV commercial who was buying romantic comedy PPV movies online and her husband catches her…
Rachel Harris, the blonde cutie with the “nerdy cool” black glasses, who’s in the Geico insurance commercials where the gecko win employee of the month. She’s been in other commercials, and was a “correspondent” on The Daily Show briefly. Starting to get acting gigs in sitcoms now.
The brunette with a ponytail, wearing a purple sweater, and reading a book in one of those V8 commercials. She makes flirty eyes with the guy in the ad until she sees the grease bomb cheeseburger he’s eating. She’s attractive in a real world, approachable kind of way, I know it’s just an actress in a commercial but I always want to know what book she’s reading.
The hot brunette in the silvery dress dancing with the cheating boyfriend in the Progressive Car Insurance commercial when the other girl is hexing him with Voodoo.com. The girl is waaaay out of my league (and the league of the goober in the commercial too), but hey a widdershins can dream.
I wouldn’t mind me some “Cute Glad Girl” lovin’ either. Damn I need a life…
The wife in the AOL 9.0 commercial with Snoop Dogg and Jerry Stiller. I’ve had a crush on her since Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion.
Third from the left. She has shorter hair in the commercial now and still just as hot.
I also second the Subway wife who is paired with the ugliest guy they could fit in a cheerleading outfit. Totally unbelievable pairing.
Oh! And I think it’s an Expedia commercial where the guy is online planning a trip to Hawaii and suggests to his wife who is lying on the floor reading the paper that they could take surf lessons? Her. She’s not “beautiful” but has a certain “zhuh nay say kwah”. Reminds me of Nina from 24.
Expedia commercial’s wife: However times I see that commercial, I always feel sorry for her when she chirps, “Okay!” after her husband denies her surfing lessons because of his dumbass jealousy. She seems so sweet.
The brown eyed woman who rinses with Listerine for thirty seconds.
There is a tooth whitening commercial where a woman stops and checks her smile/teeth in the reflection of a storefront window.
The credit card stealing Cinderella.
The curly haired brunette who baby sits her nieces and cooks some pre-packaged meat. When the folks come home, one of the kids says that mom was wrong and aunt Karen is a good cook. She was also in Octopus II–Her name is Meredith Morton.
Does anybody remember those ads for (I believe) liquid-repellent Dockers that ran about a year ago? In one of them, a guy tells his wife he’s going out for a little while when, in fact, he’s going to Vegas for an extended bachelor-party weekend with his buddies. The ad itself is mostly forgettable were it not for the dark-brunette who plays his wife. The fact that this was the woman he left at home to go on a bender made me wonder if he had any sense.
There was a drop dead gorgeous girl who was in a Maybeline Stay-On Lip Color commercial when it came out around 1995. Sexy accent, maybe French, I don’t remember it well. God she was something.
My favorite is from the past (and for different reasons) but anyone else remember the little so-homely-he-was-cute red-haired boy with the chipmunk cheeks who used to say “borgasmoard” for “smorgasboard?” I don’t remember what his name was now, though I should. He was some kind of little genius, apparently.
