When were the X-Men Gambit and Biship discovered and what ever happened to Bishop? He was the coolest character!

Gambit’s first appearance was either in Uncanny X-Men #266 or X-Men Annual #14, both in 1990. It looks like Bishop’s first appearance was in Uncanny X-men #291, in 1992.

I believe Bishop’s getting his own book by summer, something about him being the sheriff of Mutant City, whatever that is.
