Game: Guess the movie by it's tagline.

Gremlins (don’t get them wet!)

Here’s the next one:

“Just because they serve you doesn’t mean they like you.”

what the hell, I’m still here: Clerks?

I have to go out for a few hours; in my impatience I checked IMDB (sorry) to see if I was right on the last one. It says I am.

so it’s my turn!

"An immortal legend. As you’ve only imagined."

[sub(]I’m gone for a few hours so if anyone else wants to confirm the answer for the winner, go ahead.)[/sub]

Well, I’ve got no idea but I’ll take a SWAG with Excalibur.

::trots off to IMDB to see just how wrong he could be::

Tarzan, the animated Disney one.

IMDB says I’m right (Tarzan, '99) so:

“The world’s most private detective.”

Just chiming in to say yep, Tarzan was it.

Heheheheee! I got one!
“The world’s most private detective.”
Zero Effect. And I know it’s right because I just went and checked the box on my shelf! Good one, thinksnow!

Hmmm. My turn now, huh?

“In The Game Of Life, Play The Cards You’re Dealt.”

Go!

Rounders?

yes

Indeed! Carry on, *s’il vous plait.

Ok, then. Here goes…

“Some legacies must end.”

Have at it.

This was just on TV two weeks ago:

American History X

(IMDB says I’m right, too, go me!)
I didn’t know this next movie had a tagline, imagine my sirprise!)
“This movie is totally out of control.”

Short Circuit?

Would that be Kentucky Fried Movie? :D. I haven’t watched that in forever, thanks for reminding me of it.
New one: “God bless America…they’re going to need it.”
This one is a little tougher. It’s an independant film but it’s fairly popular and it has a few famous people in it.

“SLC Punk”

A little obscure for this game, don’t you think, Cisco. Though you wrote the OP, didn’t you…

OK, next:

“The Future Is History”

Back to the Future?

Not too obscure I don’t think, it is fairly well known and it has Matthew Lillard in it, he’s pretty well known. And I also gave the hint that it was an indie film. Anyway, yours is 12 Monkeys :D. I just watched that about three weeks ago, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I rememered.

New one: “A homespun murder story”

'nother easy one.

Fargo, aye?

I need to see that one again.

NEXT, a good tag for a really bad movie:
“100% Pure Adrenaline.”

Somebody did that one on page 1, thinksnow (just goes to show how forgettable Point Break was). How 'bout another one?

“Movie? What movie?”
