“Movie? What movie?”
bump
Just a WAG… Stay Tuned?
Looks like people are stumped, thinksnow…how about a hint?
It’s a secret!
Well, jeez, thinksnow, if you don’t want to give a hint, then don’t bother to post.
Oh, and here’s a guess: is it Top Secret?
Ok, thanks for the huge hint, Thinksnow. (I checked in IMDB) Ironically I was telling a coworker about that film today and it still didn’t click. Here’s my fave tagline from Top Secret:
Ok, here’s the next one:
The Greatest Picture in the History of Entertainment
History of the World Part 1?
D.W. Griffith’s “Birth of a Nation”?
Diesel: no.
Neidhart: no.
Ben-Hur?
Sparticus?
No and no.
That’s Entertainment ?
No.
I can see we’re going to struggle with this one for a while.
::rubs hands in glee::

Ooh, ooh! It’s “The Wizard of Oz”!
Next:
“Never Before Has A Man Done So Much With So Little.”
Dagnabit! I hadn’t even gottne the ‘glee’ off my hands yet! Good job.
Your new one wouldn’t be Forrest Gump would it? Back up SWAG: The Hudsucker Proxy.
It’s not the Wizard of Oz. And even if it was that would be against the rules. No movies before 1960, remember?
Shib seems to think it was Wizard of Oz, and Shib posted it…I agree, though, that the OP called for movies after 1960. So what’s the correct answer, anyone?
Ahhh, now that I go back and look at it, the OP called for movies after 1965, not 1960. Anyway, I’m stumped with this one, I have no idea what it is. It seems like a comedy, and it smells like Mel Brooks but I just happened to coincidentally for no reason related to this thread whatsoever look through every Mel Brooks movie last night and it’s not one of them :D. I guess we’ll have to wait until thinksnow feels jovial enough to give us a hint.
Sorry, it was the Wizard of Oz, I did read the OP, but this game started so long ago that it kind of blurred out of my incredibly inefficient short term memory. Anyway, it was answered correctly so I’ll just slink off here and then we can continue from the most recent tagline which has not been answered. And if I get another one correct I will stay in the last 36 years.
Sorry for the trouble and confusion.
