The frogurt is also cursed.
But it comes with the blessings of The Lord of Light.
That’s good!
But all light casts shadows.
That’s bad…
I’m lactose intolerant, so frogurt is “full or terrors”.
The viewers might feel less concern about Robb’s fate than the readers. In the show, Robb isn’t that likeable and often appears to be an almost secondary character.
My biggest gripe so far is how poorly the war was portrayed on a TV budget. Robb’s character loses out when the coolest stuff he does is off screen. 2nd hand works better in text than on screen.
If this series really does wrap up in massive battles, hopefully the ratings will justify a budget to do it justice.
I was most peeved by the Battle of the Green Fork. Watching the series only you’d think that Tyrion got cold cocked and sat that one out, whereas in the book he was a bad ass at it and impressed quite a few others who were there.
He is dreamy, though, and he is a son trying to avenge the murder of his father. That’s enough for a lot of people.
Can I go now?
It’s in Storm of Swords. I do not remember the period bit.
Huh. Jamie gets to King’s Landing after Joffery is dead. How are they going to work out that timeline on the show? I guess Jamie and Brienne won’t reach King’s Landing til next season? Or will they just have Jamie show up earlier than he does in the book?
They’ll have a layover in Atlanta.
No he doesn’t, he’s there for the wedding.
Tommen’s wedding, he was still on the road to King’s Landing when Joffrey’s took place.
Tommen’s not married yet, is he? I thought he was still only betrothed.
No, he and Margaery get married in Feast for Crows.
IIRC, there was even a bedding cemetery (albeit G rated). They shared a bed on their wedding night and a few times since.
Didn’t Cersei insist it not be consummated until Tommen’s older?
I don’t think it could be. Tommen’s too little.
If I recall correctly, the Red Wedding also has a bit where The Hound hits Arya with his axe… and we find out later that it was just the flat of the axe and she’s fine.
I wonder if they’ll do a fakeout of that sort in the series? Particularly if they don’t resolve the cliffhanger until next season? That would be sooooooooooo mean.
I could easily see that being the last scene - Arya looking at the devastation after the wedding, without hope or any idea what to do next, looks up, we see the Hound’s axe hurtling toward the camera - cut to black. See you next Spring! It would be so evil!
