I can’t wait to see Tyrion’s escape. So far it’s his last great moment. I’ll be quite disappointed if they radically change the basic facts (Tyrion kills Tywin on the toilet and then strangles Shae in Tywin’s bed)
I don’t think the toilet will be there, since we’ve never heard about how Tywin is so rich he shits gold. I suspect it will be basically unchanged otherwise. It’s far too sacred a part of ASoIaF to muck with.
There are only 3 episodes left? I guess they can save a bunch of stuff that’s supposed to happen until next season. Next season should contain much of the boring parts that are left. Martin better get cracking on those last two books!
What’ll we have that’s good next season? Cersei’s downfall. That oughta be real good. Also a bunch of stuff in Dorne that no one will give a fuck about because who ever heard of those people, anyway? Plus Arya without the Hound learning how to be a killer while blind. Didn’t really like that at all. Oh, and the long, long, looooooooonnnnngggggg Tyrion-trek through Essos.
What am I missing. . . Oh, John snow being a terrible leader and maybe getting killed. Or maybe not getting killed. We don’t know for sure, do we?
Speaking of meeting people we don’t know or care about. . . how 'bout those two Esso wanderers making their way to Dany. Think the show will linger on those two just so the important guy can get roasted? Could be. They did introduce The Viper this season just so he can get smoked by The Mountain.
I hope they play the fight like in the book. As I remember it, The Viper downs The Mountain and then gets all James-Bond-Villianish by explaining himself and talking smack. And pays for it.
Odd, I posted that same thing in a Spoiler! thread, and the Unsullied went in paroxysms of frothing anger over the fact I had posted such a huge spoiler.
I think what he means, although (if any of you haven’t had the pleasure yet) he has a bizarre and belligerent enough position on this issue that I don’t really want to think about it too much, is that he posted a book spoiler in a thread that had TV spoilers, and people told him that, you know, they didn’t want him to do that.
Then he started a few threads about it or whatever. It makes him kind of mad and he calls the TV watchers illiterates even though probably more than half have already read the books.
oh, and

Don’t ask me where, but I read something in which GRRM confirmed this.

What are you trying to say? That people in a no-spoiler thread objected to spoilers? What’s odd about that? Note that the title of this thread includes “fully and openly spoiled.”
Let it go DrDeth. This is like the fourth time we’ve all had to tell you that no one agrees with your behavior regarding this issue.
You’re in danger of becoming a one trick pony, and one with a damned bizarre fixation at that.
Best case scenario you misunderstood the spoiler guidelines of a thread. Worst case scenario you deliberately dropped a huge spoiler on the unsullied because you have this odd pretentious animosity towards them.
Actually several did. But how could I “misunderstand” the “spoiler guidelines” where the guidelines were “Spoilers!” ? Do note that the Title was hanged, etc after i posted.
