I had a lady love in Knoxville Tenn who had weighed about 315 at 5’2". She went to Brazil for her surgery at age 55 and they also did liposuction at the same time. When we were together she hovered around 200 lbs and that had been 11 years since her Brazil trip, as she always referred to it as.
Ice chips/crushed ice might be helpful. I’ve found that when I can’t handle sipping water post-surgery, crushed ice or ice chips work great and help keep you hydrated. Obviously not a long-term solution, but good for the first day or so.
I came away with a very poor opinion of the online communities. Sure, lots of the people had lost weight, but so many of them were such poor examples. It’s hard to explain, but if you read enough you will start to see the patterns. It gets old really fast.
You are going to be amazed at the results you get.
My friend weighed 268 when she was wheeled in to the operating room. It’s been three months and she is almost down to 200. She eats mostly baked fish with lemon and veggies now and actually likes it! Before she wouldn’t touch a meal like that.
