Is the mesmerizing effect a fine set of boobs produces in a straight guy completely absent in a gay guy? Any straight guy will tell you the effect isn’t so much sexual as it is awe-inspiring.
I know gay guys aren’t attracted to women. But are they not attracted to someone like Pamela Anderson in the same way they aren’t attracted to Kate Moss?
If you’re gay, do you still find yourself having trouble looking a spectacularly endowed woman in the eye?
One of my gay friends has specifically said that he just can’t see the appeal of boobs. But he’s the only one whose opinion I’ve gotten on the subject.
And might I add to this, and I know this is just characters on TV, but on ‘Will & Grace’ what’s up with Jack’s obsession with Karen and vice versa. The naked showers they share, Jack’s fixation on Karen’s boobs, the ass grabbing…I don’t get it.
He’s gay, so why the horny frat-boy routine with Karen? Is this kind of gay man-straight woman relationship common? With the sexual overtones at every corner?
To answer the OP’s question, yes, it is absent in my case. I can, I hope, appreciate and understand female beauty on an aesthetic level, and I can see why a straight guy would find a particular woman attractive, but I just don’t feel that - visceral - desire for her that I presumably “ought” to.
A fortiori, I don’t have any sort of “atomic” attraction to breasts in and of themselves; I don’t perceive them as being in any way seperate from the rest of the person, which I gather from the OP is the straight view of the issue.
I’m not gay OR a guy, but my assumption has always been that a woman’s chestal area was no more a sexual turnon to a gay guy than it is to a straight woman. Why would it be otherwise?
Speaking as a bisexual guy with a deep appreciation of teh boobies, I don’t find either of those women remotely attractive. Not even in their chestal areas.
Speaking as a Dutch hetero woman, I believe the fascination for (big) boobs is very much an American thing. In the Netherlands, (no cite, just IMHO) guys’s preferences as to their fav female bodypart is much more varied.
The average American gay guy might appreciate boobs more then many Dutch straight guys.
As a straightish chick, I find boobies attractive.
Almost all of my gay male friends LOVE boobies. I guess maybe it’s just akin to whether you’re a butt, leg, whatever person. Some people just like certain parts if they’re built right no matter who they’re on.
Sorry ladies your chesticles don’t do a thing for me. I have learned, however, that bras can make a pretty good sling in a pinch. Man that rock flew! Where did I learn such a thing you ask? One of my lesbian buddies showed me. So, boobs, nothing exciting for me. Bras? Dang fine slingshots!
No, it exists in the UK too - check out page3.com for confirmation (daily titty pics in the nation’s most popular newspaper). And many other countries, too, as far as I can tell.
But to the OP - I’m guessing that the OP’s question could be turned round to ask the OP:

If this is a correct interpretation, my answer would be “yes, completely”.
(P.S. I like boobies large and small, but natural only - any hint of silicone and I’m totally turned off. Possibly because the plastic surgeons seem only to make fake-looking boobs.)
Straight guy barging in to post. I wouldn’t say “just a bunch of bumps” but I also wouldn’t say “awe-inspiring”. KInda cute, I guess. I find the paeans to tittage to be way over the top. The point of all of this being that the straight baseline to which you’re asking gay guys to compare themselves doesn’t apply to all straight fellers either.
Heck, I’m a straight woman and I find myself mesmerized by boobs sometimes. I’ve caught myself stealing glances at spectacular cleavage. It’s not sexual - I don’t want to do anything to the boobies. I just can’t help looking at them.
