I’d like to know how the gay community feels about enhanced patdowns, and if they are worried about woodies springing up.
I don’t worry about getting an erection out of it. I don’t like having strangers touch me.

I would feel somewhat uncomfortable if a really hot female TSA patted me down, not aroused. I’d imagine most gay people don’t think of it as a sexual thing anymore than they think of doctor visits as arousing.
True. My doctor started doing prostate checks on me this year (I’m 35) and there was absolutely nothing sexual about it. At best it was uncomfortable and a little awkward.
Why would that be a concern? As others have pointed out, it’s no more an arousing sexual experience than a visit to the doctor. Even less so – the doctor makes me take my pants off.
I would think that straight guys would be much more worried about sporting a boner during a pat down from a guy… just sayin’… 
But yeah- it doesn’t appear to be a sexual thing.

Maybe some company will offer “Happy Ending Pat Downs” with a selection of “patters” in thongs for First Class passengers or frequent fliers.
Then there is the other side of the coin as well. What would it be like as a TSA agent suddenly coming into contact with an erection ?
Would you have to pinch it to make sure it wasn’t a vacuum packed condom of PETN ?
Well, I never asked the TSA-or-like agent who grabbed my ass years ago during a patdown whether she was a lesbian, but she certainly seemed to enjoy the opportunity to grab some ass; no woodies for us, though. Should I have asked about her orientation?

I once had an extremely attractive nurse hold my penis. Before it happened I was thinking “Great!!.. But I hope I don’t get excited…”.

In summary, I don’t think they’ll have a problem with the patdowns.
