GDebaters, look here.

Mods, even though this thread is OT, I wanted to post it here, anyway, seeing as how many of the GDers don’t get out to MPSIMS or IMHO. Feel free to lock it if you find this to be too great an offense.

I’ve found something I’m sure all of you will be interested in, as it will make statistical research alot easier for you. It’s a program I was given in my Political Science class, and I thought you guys would like to know about it.

It’s called “MicroCase Student ExplorIt,” and it draws maps of the US by state, county, or colony, and allows you to compare and contrast hundreds of variables via bar graphs, line graps, ratios, color maps, and so forth. It even plots the correspondance ratio between them. All in all, very very handy for this debating you guys like.

If you want a copy, go to a local college bookstore, and look for “American Government: An Introduction Using MicroCase ExplorIt” printed by Wadsworth. ISBN 0534547168.

Please don’t think this is an advertisement or spam. I’m in no way associated with this company, nor do I have any fiscal or physical interest in pushing it’s goods. I just thought you guys would like to have this program.

Sorry for the OT message.

Well, it’s clearly not a GD, so I’m going to lock it. It’ll stay on the topic list for a bit and people can still check it out if they are so inclined.
