Hey guys! I’ve already e-mailed Sierra tech support, but was wondering if anyone had any input on this problem.

I have a Compaq Armada 1500c notebook computer running Win98. I am attempting to run a game called Leisure Suit Larry’s Casino, and I keep getting an error that reads:
Failed to initialize direct sound object because
dserr_invalid param

Any ideas?? I really wanna play!

Try loading the latest DirectX from Microsoft’s web site.

I would suggest www.hardwarecentral.com and sign up. Its a message board just like this place but strictly for computers and computer related subjects.

I should add, hit the discussion link at the top left and peruse the forums for information or just sign up and post your problem.
