I am a gay man and I perfer a cat but only because it’s easier to take care of. I love dogs and cats both. But truthfully a cat is a lot less work.
I love my neighbor’s dogs. I can go over and pet them and feed them and play with them then leave. That is the PERFECT pet

I am a bi woman in a relationship with a straight man (who likes cats and dislikes dogs) and I like dogs and cats equally, and have two of each. I didn’t vote obviously.
I prefer cats and find I enjoy people who prefer cats as a rule.
However I have owned one dog - a spaniel, and would consider owning another, larger dog, if I lived where a large dog could be comfortable.
