Just because you ‘generally’ think that the mods do a good job doesn’t mean that you need to defend their every action when they get called on it. Personally, I think that, in general, the mods do a good job. It’s just that when something happens where either a mod or an admin fucks something up, there’s never an apology or a retraction. Seems to me that 99.9% of the time, it just gets ignored until everyone shuts up about it.
I don’t remember having any problems with you, which if I didn’t like you I definitely would.

In light of the fact that you (mods/admins/what have you) have no idea what the Reader is planning for the boards, and that you have absolutely no control over what features are added/removed at any time, nor do you have anything to do with any of the server or software maintenance or programming, should you really be making statements that really cool stuff is in the works?
Were you told that there would be changes made?
Cause if you weren’t, then the weather analogy goes like this: Didn’t watch the weather last night, read about it online, hear it on the radio, or check it out in the newspaper, but still going and telling someone else there will be good weather tomorrow.

Just out of curiosity, can we substitute “admin” for “mods” in this post? 'Cause if so, then both mods and admin really shouldn’t be “predicting” new features or goodies or whatever without a fairly high level of certainty that they’re gonna happen. “And in the weather tonight, there’ll be a 3% chance of severe thunderstorms tomorrow, so make sure you bring your heavy-duty rain gear” would sound, to coin a phrase, fucking laughable.
And if not, then someone’s being remarkably disingenuous. But I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt.

And I hesitated to post here, because your analingus crowd is just so revoltingly nasty to anyone who takes the side of the mods, ever. But I stepped in, because I don’t want to let contemptible jerks dictate my behavior.

Fair point; although the “self-righteous” moniker is idiotic to apply in this sort of situation (since I’m not claiming righteousness about anything), you’ve not been nasty. I had you confused with some others. My fault, and I apologize for that.

I hate to pile on but I agree that an apology is owed to catsix and that TubaDiva is way over her head as an Admin. I say keep paying Tuba for keeping up the website and relieve her of her Admin duties. She simply doesn’t have a clue.
