I’d love to hear the logic behind that.
If you can post a screenshot, then all of Town can post a screenshot, and the slum team will have to get busy with Photoshop. Seems like a game-breaker, in a bad way.
** Can I post a screenshot, Red?**
Better watch out, calling the other teams the “slum” team will get you lynched.
fwiw, I could post a screenshot of a faked role PM without using Photoshop.
Mine matches Astral’s. I believe he got his PM in the format given, whether the details have been messed with or not.
Unvote: Astral
for the time being. though I don’t have a better candidate
Noted.
Ha, funny.
Astral, can you answer my questions from the top of the last page?
NETA: that was @ Ed, not fubbles.
First of all my home pc died so expect weird participation and lots of smartphone related typos.
That said, I need to respond to two things in Pleo’s post.
-
I have seen a night cycle game start referred to as Night 0, Night 1, and Early Start. Either way it is probably moot until someone claims to have used a power on Night 0.

Regarding Tiger Balls, I am only riffing on my character name and universe. I could reveal that without too much in the way of worry if you really think it is necessary, and I cannot see any reason Tom would be saying it that wouuld relate to my character–it’s a throwaway line in context.
While we don’t often have theme games, I have a habit of tossing in verbal tics of characters I have been assigned if I can’t see any way it will hurt me or town.
Normal, the only question I see is “what do you like about the Sister Coyote case.” I’d be happy to elaborate when I get home.
That plus your promised review of gnarlycharlie.
Re: no 3, why is that scummy? Aren’t reactions good? More information for town.
Having said that, I don’t like the way gnarlycharlie shifts ground as soon as he is challenged on anything. After Normal commented on his lack of Astral vote, he straight away voted for Astral. When Mahaloth didn’t like his wording, he changed it. I don’t know if that is a scummy thing to do or just his style.
I think you mean “Re: No 2”
It’s scummy because “poke to get a reaction and then duck out” is a way to focus attention on others, which is beneficial to scum.
Uh, ignore those first two quotes. Those must have been tagged for quoting from earlier.
Oh, and my role pm goes in the same order as Sister’s claim.
Pleonast –
Two comments related to me:
Not in the full context of that color. The noose is stated as the goal of everyone here, but locked up away from us for now (presumably but not certainly until the end of the game). It’s not a direct step from there to “somebody has the noose”, and it’s therefore necessary to ask whether Mahaloth knows something the rest of us don’t.
I disagree completely here (about the value of claims). The claim is part of the sum total of evaluating a player, and it very frequently (though not here) turns out definitive in one direction or the other. Astral had enough suspicion on him, for a solid enough reason, that his claiming was IMO needed, and I’m not going to beat around the bush about such things.
If you’re implying that I didn’t vote to lynch, then you either don’t understand me or are trying to put me in a bad light deliberately. Holding me potentially responsible for the OUTCOME of Astral’s claim (in the event that he is town) as well as the fact THAT he claimed (something you also subtly exaggerate by referring to what I did as “forcing” anything) is disingenuous. Especially given your repeated assertions that you think Astral is likely not town.
And some other odds and ends:
This is possible, actually; or it could even be both. I’m reminded of Screamers again, where the main detective couldn’t touch the godfather (who did not investigate as a Screamer) or the serial killer (who just plain wasn’t one).
As has been mentioned, not universally true.
Good god yes.
For the vote alone, or anything else?
enough of this, please
Heh.
