Actually, it’s not out of thin air, I wrote down facts so I am quite happy with my vote.
No I am being accused of pussyfooting around so you were my target, I hope I haven’t offended you but Normal is on my case for me not saying anything.
I am so MAD that gnarly didn’t come up with anything good, I had faith in him and he let me down!! I am really lost now, after n2, sorry if I was building a case out of thin air.
@ Inner, you still don’t seem to be scum hunting, is there a reason for this?
It’s aggressive, but so was Fubbleskag (with the ‘bullshit’ comment). I thought smudging was sneakily introducing an idea that fubbleskag might be scum in a deniable kind of way. There was already a case going on fubbleskag and Pleonast was voting for him.
On Day 2
Pedescribe voted for Pleonast again yesterday, for the smudge on fubbleskag which he says looks even more suspicious since fubbleskag flipped town.
fluiddruid voted for Pleonast again, because of the soft claim. She had an additional reason that Pleonast’s vote on gnarlycharlie was illogical.
Fluid also made a night comment that suggested she was going to vote for Pleonast again today, though obviously today a lot more has happened, so she hasn’t as yet.
Winston Smith voted Pleonast again for the soft claim, and the refusal to answer special ed’s questions about it.
MHaye voted for Pleonast because his vote on gnarly was illogical.
If I add all that up in my head, it seems like Pleonast was in on the lynch of two townies (Hirka, nesta and Tom Scud were the others that voted in both lynches), and his reasoning on the second one in particular is shaky. All right, I can see what people are getting at now, at least.
Looking through all that though, the person who caught my eye most, for being all talk and no action, is Inner Stickler. So, for now,
vote Inner Stickler

@ Inner, you still don’t seem to be scum hunting, is there a reason for this?
Well, as long as you aren’t, I didn’t see why I should bother.
Well I did vote for you, are you telling me I an wrong and yes I just picked on you
Gee, Jan, you sound really convinced.
Seriously Inner, what scum hunting have you done? I mean really, you stand back and place a safe vote. With all the trash I got from you was really just trash.
I don’t want to change my vote unless you come up with something awesome!
Wait, so if I come up with a great case on someone else you’ll switch your vote? Interesting.

Gee, Jan, you sound really convinced.
I am as confused as the next person but one has to place a vote or what’s the point of playing

Wait, so if I come up with a great case on someone else you’ll switch your vote? Interesting.
No I never said that, I am so discombobulated at gnarly I want to kill , but that being aside I dont trust you and that is why I voted for you.
So no, my vote is firmly placed On
Inner
don’t know if I have to do it in blue again

Looking through all what? Your comments were all about Pleonast, and “all talk no action” is vague. What specifically are you looking at?
Also, Silver Jan’s posts today are giving me a queasy feeling I might just be dealing with a townie who thinks very very differently from how I do. But then why has NOBODY piled on, after I’ve been on her for two days? Usually if I’m a townie and make a cruddy case on another townie, at least one scum somewhere decides it would be fun to chuck out a “me too”. Meh.
Anyway, I’m going to be away most of the weekend, so see you all Monday.
I just want to tell you all that I am hosting my daughter’s Baby Shower (Stork Party) today so I might not be able to post later.

Silver Jan’s summary was fresh in my mind when I went back to look at all the votes on Pleonast. Then I came across Stanislaus’s recap on Inner, which basically said the same thing as Jan’s. Then reading through what was going on at the time when people were voting for Pleonast, and Pleonast is voting for fubbleskag and arguing about things, there are a few posts from Inner Stickler in all that, but none of them say much. He doesn’t get involved in any of the arguments, or ask or answer any questions, or have any suspicions or put forward any suggestions. Like he is just along for the ride.
Inner Stickler(2): Silver Jan[978], Weedy[984]
Silver Jan(1): Normal Phase[905]
Pleonast(1): fluiddruid[921]
Astral Rejection(0): [del]Mahaloth[del][900-965][/del][/del], [del]Tom Scud[del][928-931][/del][/del]
Did Not Vote:Tom Scud, Mahaloth, Zeriel, Hirka T’Bawa, TexCat, Inner Stickler, nesta, pedescribe, SisterCoyote, Winston Smith, Stanislaus, MHaye, Pleonast, Astral Rejection
With these votes Inner Stickler would be lynched.
Quiet Day.
I’m partially to blame, this particular Day cycle has been busy for me. Rereading the thread tonight, posting some thoughts tomorrow.
My thoughts on the N2 imbroglio while I’m waiting to go out.
Given the way the revelations occurred, I’m slightly less sceptical about Astral Rejection’s roleclaim. For N2’s results to be faked, it would require one of two things.[ul]
[li]The mass redirection power be in the hands of an ALE drinker, or [/li][li]There is no mass redirection power, in which case Fluiddruid, Tom Scud and Astral are all in it together.[/ul]The first option is more credible than the second.[/li]
However, it seems less likely to me now that Astral is an ALE drinker faking the claim.
I can totally get on board with a lynch of Inner, based on the case I made here:
**
vote Inner Stickler**
As to the outcome of last night:
- We seem to have outed a couple of power roles. This is bad but: if there is a 3rd party Bomber, ALE have as much of an interest in knowing who’s been tagged as CARS do, so fluiddruid might not be a priority for them.
- If there is a 3rd Party Bomber, I strongly suggest that we make no effort whatsoever to find and lynch them. Lynches should stay focused on scum. If ALE feel threatened by the Bomber, they can use a night kill on him/her.
