At home I kneel in front of the bowl to pee. It’s easier to avoid splashing than when standing, and it’s more comfortable than sitting and “tucking”.

A friend of mine was brought up by his young sister (mother died when he was a baby, father was ‘traditional’ and also worked long hours). So he was taught to wee sitting down. He only learned that boys are meant to stand up when he went to school, but by then it was imprinted, so he still sits.
Apparently, some countries are trying to encourage that men sit down too since they feel that all the potential splashing and dribbling is unsanitary. So it may not be “meant” for us to wee standing up for much longer. :rolleyes:
