is there any kind of a database where i can find pictures of specific rocks? i have no idea where to look and have missed my classes this week. i have an exam monday and have no way to get to a lab to look at them myself.
This might be a good place to start. Lots of pictures for both specific rock types, as well as pictures illustrating specific properties fo various rocks and minerals.
A google image search will pull up most rocks.
