Hey, given the (lack of) shower habits of some nerds I know, this could meet a read need! 
I believe that this was mocked up ages ago as a joke ad by one of Takei’s fans that he liked so much that he made it happen.
“Subtle and charming, with top notes of mandarin zest, Italian bergamot and fresh ozone transitioning to night-blooming jasmine, white freesia petals and grated ginger”
With just a hint of Gorn musk. 
Ozone in a science-fiction fragrance is ingenious, but I have to wonder how shelf-stable it is.

A unisex fragrance? Interesting.
GT really needs to rethink the unisex label. It’s the kiss of death for pretty much any product. It’s like saying ‘use this if you never want to have sex again.’
Considering his market, that’s not really a concern.
Actually, I think releasing a unisex product is part of Takei’s point - he’s been a staunch advocate of LGBTQI rights (apologies if I left out any letters) for a very long time. The idea of aesthetics as something distinct from gender identity or sexual orientation would likely appeal to him.
You’re probably right and I hope a large enough part of the market is both that aware and progressive that he can turn a profit. I guess I just don’t have that much faith in people as a general rule.

Very true. I love the guy (and I’m not even a huge Trek fan). His regular visits to the Howard Stern show really turned me on to him (and I suggest even if you don’t like Stern, if you don’t like Howard Stern, check out a George Takei week, Takei is awesome…and you might change your mind about Howard). Very open and honest. Has a fantastic sense of humor about himself and is generous to a fault. He’s awesome.
Keep in mind that the market for this is going to be pretty much exclusively science fiction fans anyway, who tend to be more progressive (or at least, less constrained by tradition) in their social views, anyway.
