Yes, my point was comparing Theodore Roosevelt to “Dubya” as leaders when they served in the military. Airman Doors picked up on that and that’s why he replied with another choice - Harry Truman, a World War I veteran who served with distinction.

If you mean as the president, then you are right. If you mean as a soldier, led US forces into war then you are wrong. Try, Theodore Roosevelt on for size. He is a pretty good fit here. Or JFK. I am sure the list is much longer than the one in my puny head.

By comparison though, I do not think Julius led the army AFTER he became the emperor.
