George W. Bush Impersonator on Tonight Show

Did anybody else see this guy last night being interviewed by Leno? He had everything down: the smirk, the twitch, the snicker, the mannerisms, and he looked so, so much like him. And on top of it all, he had great comic timing and delivery. I don’t usually watch Leno, so I’d also like to know if he is a regular, much like the “drop-down TV Bush” that shows up every so often on Conan O’Brien.

Oh, and speaking of Conan, is that really him jumping into the river at the opening of his show?

Yeah it is really spooky how well he does Dubya. I have seen him on Leno before but I don’t watch Leno enough to know if he is a regular.

After reading this, the first thouht that came to mind was the movie Dave with Kevin Klein. If anything happened to the real Dubya this guy could fill his shows without missing a beat.

I missed it last night, but he is on every week or so, and yes, he is very good for someone who must have been an amatuer before he got this gig. I’d love to see the writing get a bit better.

The guy reminds me of Damian Mason, the world’s greatest Bill Clinton impersonator, who I had the pleasure to see live back in July.

I don’t watch Leno, but it’s probably Brent Mendenhall.
