For years I assumed Geraldo Rivera was a liberal. He is hispanic and jewish (sorry, but you have to admit these groups are often liberal). And he did reporting that often championed the rights of the underdog, also a hallmark for liberal, you have to admit. Now I find he is on the very conservative fox news channel. And to further confuse the issue, he has his own show there, Geraldo at Large, I believe is its name.
I don’t watch his show ever, so someone has to tell me: Is Geraldo liberal or conservative (or an independent, please explain more if he is though)?
He was extremely livid at the Republicans during the Clinton impeachment proceedings.
I don’t know if that was because he had a philosophical problem with a president being impeached over what he saw as a trivial matter, or whether he was a partisan Democrat who didn’t want “his” president put under the gun by the opposition.
