Who are these idiots screaming after every tee shot and putt? I know it’s been going on for years but how is it that the PGA, the golf courses involved, or the networks haven’t placed some restrictions on these outbursts?
They should institute a new rule for spectators that anyone that yells out like that will be escorted from the event and barred from attending any events for one year. That’s certain to put a stop to it.
This should probably be moved to Great Debates, because I’m sure there will be a lot of people who really enjoy hearing people say that every damn shot.
Unless they happen to be caught screaming that at someone hitting their drive on a Par 5, in which case they must be banned for life.

I’ll take “get in the hole!” over “MASHED POTATOES!” any day. I’m embarrassed for those morons whenever I hear them on TV. No one has an explanation for where it came from. I suspect it was a “hey, hold my beer” moment between two idiots at their first PGA event.
