Get Ready For The GOP To Do Whatever They Can To Steal This Election (Too)

Speaking for myself, I simply say that when a thread is about the Republican party hiring a company with known ethical lapses to do voter registration, then bringing up “but the other guys do it too” is a pathetic rhetorical response.

This is especially true when ACORN (as an organization) flagged the problem employees and alerted authorities as they were legally obligated to do, whereas the Republican-hired company had to be caught red-handed by the authorities.

The equivalence is marginal at best, but it does not stop people from trotting it out nonetheless.

My understanding is:

ACORN was found guilty of using a method to remunerate their employees that was illegal in one state (Nevada, I believe) but perfectly legal in others. This was wrong and they should not have done this.

The method of payment used provided an incentive for workers to pass in fraudulent registrations. This is troubling but, in the main, not illegal (except as noted above).

ACORN passed in these registrations as required by law. This is laudable.

ACORN flagged registrations that seemed invalid so that the correct authorities could look into them. This is the correct action to take.

ACORN has NOT been shown to be advising their employees to submit fake registrations, only register persons of a certain party, destroy registrations of people from the “wrong” party.

Republicans seem to be advising their people on illegal tactics to prevent legitimate votes from voting. A sitting congressman says that he was aware of the tactics, knew they were illegal and yet still approved of them.

It seems to me that these are as alike as a mild headache and a steel spike through the skull.

Your problem is (apart from being a hysterical partisan) that what we on the rational side have been saying about ACORN isn’t a lie at all - it’s true. ACORN really was corrupt, they really did break the law, the organization itself was convicted of a felony, not just employees. All these things are true, and have been proven to be true many times over. Yet people like you continue to deny it.

The other thing is that people like you also claim that you want fair and honest elections and the rule of law. But that isn’t true either. Because when left-wing groups break the law, you deny it and lie about it and dismiss it and try to hand-wave it away and change the subject and then lie about it again. But when you think the GOP has done something, the standards change instantly and you begin screaming hysterically.

And when you do that, it’s fun to mock you and watch the foam dribble down your chin as you scream invective at your betters. And there are lots and lots of them.

This is the part where Bricker, the lying coward, focuses on one guy, in the Nevada office, offering an incentive which was against Nevada law. He didn’t try to hide it, and it looks for all the world like he was ignorant of that law and fucked up.

This has nothing to do with voter fraud, it has nothing to do with anything other than one guy goofing and braking the law.

But lying coward Bricker is trying to confuse the issue. Because he can’t win honestly. Because he’s on the wrong side.

You’re being lied to by people who want your vote, and know that riling up people like you is easier than motivating them with reason.

You’re a dupe. Your anger is based on fiction and your outrage is manufactured.

Jesus fuck the lefty tards are fucking hilarious. ACORN commits a felony and the fucking tarded stupid pieces of shit are all, “Nuh, uh,…uh…uh…republicans are dumb and lying to you…and…and…and…you’re dumb.”

Fucking tards.

You don’t understand the issue. Why not sit this one out and let people who actually know what they’re talking about have the floor?

Shut up, you fucking troll.

Shodan

So do we have you on record as an advocate for labeling any organization convicted of a felony as corrupt and shut down by whatever [legal] means necessary?

Are we talking of the felony of using an improper method of remuneration or another that I am not aware of?

If we are speaking of the felony conviction of using an improper method of remuneration, do you feel that they did it specifically in order to generate fraudulent voter registrations and if so, why did they then flag those registrations as suspicious themselves?

Does using an incorrect method of remuneration rise to the same level as representatives of a political party coaching their employees in specific illegal acts designed to prevent legitimate votes from being counted?

Oh, I’m sorry, did I ruffle your mullet?

Maybe. But you ain’t one of them.

If it was only a single incident in New Mexico you could try to pass it off as a misguided registrar, but when its happining in Fla. and Col. also that line wont fly!
*UPDATED x3 with CO Tie-in* BREAKING: Florida GOP Election Fraud scandal spreads to ten counties

I’m glad ACORN stole the election for the Democrats and that their hidden, residual shadow organizations have worked hard to do the same to this election. You got health care, whether you like it or not, forced on you. We’ll force gay marriage on you too, and turn your kids gay. How do you like them apples?

Look, Yog, we know the collective IQs of the ACORN defenders doesn’t reach three digits - you don’t have to show us.

Most successful thread hijacking ever. Is there even a single post other than the OP’s and **Bricker’s **about the subject matter of this thread?

Well done Shodan.

Honestly, I really have no interest interacting with you fucking liars on this so I’m going to go ahead and mosey on whilst you keep fucking that cactus.

Thisis what I see when I read your posts. And it amuses me.

And Lobohan shows us how it’s done — Woo!

There are dozens of documented cases of unconscionable tactics overwhelmingly used by Republicans for years, in an effort to deceive Democrats about where and when to vote, and about their voting rights in general. We’re going to see more of these tricks than ever this election. If you can take the time, volunteer to be a poll watcher at your polling place.

No fucking kidding.

Training people to challege voters for non-existent requirements - who cares? This thread should be a serious contender at the next Diogenes Awards.
