Get your taxonomic designation, by Doobieous

Well, apparently it’s been far too long since I’ve been on chat. Poor 'ol 'Tooki’s been forgotten.

Although, I suppose it’s better this way, since you can’t cop out and use the scientific name of the Tanuki for me.

Could I please have a binomial classification?

[sub]I’ve not been around long, so here are a few hints. A tansu is a kind of Japanese cupboard. I like Indian food. I bathed some lovely ladies in the recent lesbian orgy.[/sub]

I do a small vanity search on “spiny” and jump on this thread like the attention-seeker I am not, only to find that the first half of my name has been used in vain. If it hadn’t been in a post to porcupine, I would’ve been insulted, as it is, I’m just slightly miffed.

OTOH, Doobie: You’ve got the “spiny” part down already, would it be too much trouble to translate “Norman” as well ?

S. Norman

Oh great Doobieous,
Though I’m not worthy,
I beg, most piteous,
Bestow a name on me…

Pleeeeze…?

about me:
Religeous, yet scientific. Socially moderate Constitutionalist, fiscally conservative. Navy Vet (Submarines, Reactor Operator), Computer Consultant, Loving husband, doting father of the most beautiful, brilliant little girl on this planet (Daddy’s eyes, you know…).
Frequently cantankerous.

Will that do?

Probably too late, but can I get one too?

My name refers to my love of all things reggae, although the alternate Sea Lemon has become my nickname’s nickname, if you will. I love bad movies, sci fi, movies in general, music (Esp. Rush), comic books, computers, and…I’m a wiseass. Also abscent minded.
pricciar: FWIW, I got your joke, and found it to be pretty witty.

Please include me too! Thanks!!

Doob, you gotta include me. Well, you don’t of course, but it would be the nice thing to do.

So, where is Doobie?

Would you believe I’m not a Latin Binomial, but I play one on TV?

Anyway, I like taxonomy. I’m an expert at the creative deduction!
