Getting a Wii for Christmas - but what games?

My family is getting a Wii for Christmas. Not the Wii U, just the regular kind. My kids (7 and 9) like Sims and jet flying games on the iPad. I don’t think I’ve played a video game in the last 20 years. My husband plays some game with soldiers and explosions once every other week or so.

I’d love suggestions for games we should get so we can all enjoy the Wii.

Everything that’s not rated Mature should be perfect. Especially look for any game starring Mario (Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, etc).

The Raving Rabbids line is generally good for family/party play, I think.

Kirby’s epic yarn is generally well received for kids.
