Getting drunk as a college student

Yup. I have my 99 cent 32oz bottle of natural ice and my 12 1.75L bottle of Osco brand Kentucky bourbon. I would've gotten some boones farm strawberry daiquiri but its too expensive (in regards to amount of ethanol per spent) and i’d need like half a gallon of it to get tipsy, thats about 1600 calories of sugar.

Where else would i post this?

Ugh. I am sooo glad I can afford decent beer now.

Just as a random word of advice, don’t EVER mix Wild Irish Rose and Coke. It isn’t a good idea.

natural ice isnt nearly as bad as i thought it’d be. Ive had budweister, guiness, heineken, coors, and a variety of others but Natural ice is actually the best of them.

Is it okay if I hate you just a little bit, Wesley Clark?

A 40 of cheap malt liquor costs $4.00 here, and I can get 375ml of bad whiskey for the price you paid for your 1.75L.

I’m currently working my way through two 2L bottles of a locally (by locally I mean within a block of my house) brewed beer. It cost me $16.35.

Screw the medical care and lack of concealed handguns, I want access to the cheap booze!

Jesus. where do you live? here in indiana taxes must not be too high. 40oz King cobra malt liquor is $1.99.

keep in mind that $12 was for straight whiskey. Blended whiskey is only about $10.50. Vodka starts at $9 for a 1.75.

Canada. It’s like a whole 'nother country.

Skol or Dark Eyes Vodka and cheap orange juice all the way

I dunno, we drank good stuff in college. We all had jobs and big scholarships, so we had the money to drop on decent beer.

define decent beer, ive tried heineken and guinness and both were worse tasting than natural ice.

Since I’m still in college, I’ll tell you what I’m drinking today…(err…well usually)

Sam Adams Boston Lager*
Franziskaner Heffe Weisse*
Guiness*
Red Tail Ale
Mike’s Wicked Strawberry Blonde (good for the girlies)
(2) 1.75L Bottles of Stolichnaya Vodka*
(1) 1.75L Bottle of Bacardi Rum
(1) 1.75L Bottle of Bombay Saph
(1) 750mL bottle of Baileys

  • indicates that if we dont have any in the house, we all die and spontaneously combust…or just go get some more from the store ASAP. Worse yet if we have it in the house, and its not in the fridge / cold.
