Getting photos from cell phone to computer

My Pix messaging doesn’t allow the entering of anything but phone numbers. I tried using the limited web connection for email, but it doesn’t seem to allow attachements. I don’t have bluetooth or a USB cable.

I have a Razor (Verizon). What are my options? I figured that someone would have come up with the idea of a forwarding service. Send a Pix message to their phone number and they will forward them to your email address. Google turned up nothing. Does such a service exist?

Does your phone have a micro SD slot? Verizon enforces a pretty consistent user interface across all the phones they sell. So your Razor works a lot like my LG phone. I can move the pictures from phone memory to card memory and then remove the card and read that into a PC.

You can send a picture message to any email address you want. No forwarding service required. Just type an email address into the “to:” field.

That’s what I do.

Are you trying it correctly? Go to the TO: field and change it from numbers to letters. On my (LG) phone, there’s a thing at the bottom of the screen that says 123, click it and change it to abc and you should be good to go.
Otherwise, yeah, Pix message them to a friends phone who can then email them to you, but that’ll be time consuming.
Another thing, if you have alot of them save your email address as a contact and then you can just pull it up from the contact list instead of typing it in each time.

What you need are the folliowing

  1. Mini USB to USB Cable (Comes with many common Digital Cameras or can be purchased on E-bay)

  2. Motorola Drivers from Метка: Мелбет Казахстан | Мелбет приложение

  3. BitPim http://www.bitpim.org/

  4. Read this site Mark_Venture's Verizon Phone Info Page pay attention to the section marked “Wall Papers or Pictures… In BitPim Under Media -> Images…”

Joey P got it. There was a way to change from numeric entry to alpha entry. I had looked in options for this method. Just didn’t look in the appropriate place. Thanks for the help!

i noticed you mentioned that you dont have bluetooth, you should invest in a dongle as they are fairly cheap, if Verizon has not disabled the bluetooth object exchange, I just transfered about 16 photos and three vids from my razr about a few minutes ago , with bluetooth.
