You can buy a NES on eBay for $40 or so.
I figure I’ll sell the equipment all in a bundle to help with that, probably with the minor games.
Is eBay the best game in town? I just confirmed my old account did expire (although, again, I only sold two items on the thing, albeit kinda sorta big ticket ones, many many years ago).
Okay, the Game Boy kinda sorta works; it plays stuff now, but not completely clearly.
Now what?
Update: the lines down the left side didn’t prevent me from testing, and all the Game Boy games work.
Now I can sell them. Somehow.
Second update: if you haven’t seen Marketplace, I put the listing there before I go to eBay.
Thanks for the advice!
Not necessarily. I have one of the first print run of the original Legend of Zelda (identifiable by having 5 screws instead of 3 and no warnings about holding reset when turning off the power). I’m the original owner, I’ve never replaced the battery, and it still works. By all rights it should have died ~20 years ago, but nope.
Just wanted to thank everyone for their input on this thread. I grossed over $900 for my collection on eBay — not too shabby! It turned out that Mega Man 5 was the actual big ticket item as far as highest single bid goes.
