Dear god, the house is haunted by cartoons!
Curse me for not having an online photo file. I’ve got a genuine original ghost photo somewhere, at least according to my Mom.
When Grandma passed away, the family scattered her ashes in the mountains as she had requested. Afterward, while they were driving home, Mom turned and took a picture of the landscape through the back window as a memento. When the film was later developed, she was shocked to discover a blurred shape seemingly standing in the middle the road, though no such figure was visible when the picture was taken.
To this day she is convinced that it is an image of a dark-haired woman, recognizably Grandma, dressed in a flowing white gown. I’ve never had the heart to tell her that it looks pretty obviously like a smear of bird dirt in the middle of the rear window.
