The original film’s score by Elmer Bernstein will even be in the game. I paid big bucks for the soundtrack of the original film score (limited release). Best film ever, probably will be the best game ever.
Crap! I didn’t see any symbols for PC release, just consoles.
Now I have to get a Wii…
Never ever buy the Wii version of a multiple platform game. The Wii version always sucks.
I can attest to this, even my elementary school students in Japan know Ghostbusters. Brilliant
Ehh, I would at least wait until this is out to make that determination. From what I have read, the Wii version has totally different, more Real Ghostbusters cartoon-y graphics, which sounds neat.
Yeah, I recall hearing that they weren’t going to make a straight port, but instead make a version tailored to the Wii. If the controls are really good, I’ll have to get the Wii version, but otherwise I’ll probably give in to graphics and get the 360 version.
The official press release makes a reference to “Games for Windows®,” so there will be a PC version. There’s a “DVD ROM” logo at the end of the trailer, so this logo must represent the PC version.
that’s industry talk, honestly don’t buy into it. They can’t make a straight port from 360/ps3 to wii, it’s impossible as the Wii simply doesn’t have enough power (same reason last gen why all games were made on ps2 than ported to gamecube/xbox, ps2 was the least powerful system that gen, but the most popular). They’ll make the game tailored to the wii, sure, but it’s not being designed ground-up for the wii, so it will most likely suffer from the same pitfalls all other cross-platform games that hit the wii do: generally clunky controls, etc
Actually, it is. Different studios wrote the X-Box and Wii versions of the game.
I don’t think it is, actually. according to IGN
that makes it seem like it’s not made ground-up for the wii, but rather a dumbed down/retooled version of the 360/ps3 versions.
Sure a different studio is doing it, but that’s how it always is done with wii “ports”
