giant bra

My Girlfriend is from Thailand and has a 120 inch chest but she is small otherwise, where can I get a bra made for her?

Apparently the view of your girlfriend’s assets has blocked your page of forum listings.

Let me move this for you.

Should we assume you meant to write centimeters, rather than inches? 120 centimeters would be a huge chest, but still humanly possible. 120 inches, there’s probably some Irish brewers who would like to have a word with her.

Right… at 120 inches, a bra might not help much. I’d suggest a handtruck.

In the interest of science, we’ll need photographic proof of this situation-several views.

120 inches? YAHOO!

If you meant 120cm, that’s my chest size, and I take 38D (or DD, depending on the company who makes the bra). You’ll really have to take her to get her fitted properly if you want to find her something that fits and is comfortable. Don’t surprise a woman with underwear that doesn’t fit.

120 inches?!?!

Dude, call a welder.

My boyfriend got out a yardstick when I read this to him. I had to explain carefully that 120 inches just wasn’t really possible.

Although if you can post proof, I’m sure many would…oh wait, no, that would be against the rules.

And for the math-impaired, that would be 10 feet in circumference. For bonus points, I calculated that the diameter of this woman would be about 38 inches and some change. ::looks at yardstick:: Um, my guess is he means centimeters.

I did mean 120 inches. She had a rare hormone imbalance and has been in the US 4 months now.

Uh, yeah. I don’t buy it. Assuming that the 120 inches in question is distributed as circumference over both, that means they’re just over a foot and a half wide. Each. Not happening.

circumference around her body at her breasts

Maybe a wheelbarrow instead?

Oh dear.

I honestly doubt that anyone manufactures bras for such a size. Decent Exposures (www.decentexposures.com) does custom work but the style of their bra might not be up to the challenge. When I was a bigger woman than I am today, I wore their bras, and they kept things from flopping, but were really not as supportive as a traditional bra (incredibly comfy though!!).

In all honesty, your girlfriend should probably seek medical attention if she has not already done so. The hormonal problem really should be addressed. And with a bust that large, her quality of life is probably very, very seriously impaired.

Not to be flippant, but I often see shows on, say, Discovery Health which profile someone going through surgery to correct some extraordinary problem. I wonder if something like that might be a way to get the treatment expenses at least partially covered.

What’s this called?

Bullshitosis. Really.

You may not realize, but to measure for a brassiere you do NOT measure around the breasts at nipple level, you measure around the barrel of the chest at the point a bra band would rest. That is the numerical part of the bra measurement. To get the cup size, it is roughly how many inches out from the breastband the breast globe protrudes [ie 1 inch = roughly an a cup, for a 38A bra, 3 inches = roughly a c cup for a 38C bra] I have seen some artificially enhanced strippers with bras in the range of 38G [Milkmaid, frex. IIRC she had an around the nipple measurement of 90 inches, at least according to the autographed head shot she used to sell when she appeared.]

For one, I have trouble seeing someone who is otherwise close to normal having an arond the nipple measurement of 120 inches, however that woman who was recently welded to the fabric of her sofa from obesity was IIRC in roughly that size range. For what it is worth.

Get thee to the Guinness Book people.

The largest recorded size is a mere 71 inches. :dubious:

I can’t find any cases where even elephantitis caused them to get so large. I’ll tell you, though, if it’s true, I feel terrible for your wife, and yourself, for living with such a crippling condition. Someone with an extra ten feet of breast material would be unable to get out of the house and lead a normal life, the poor dear. Has she considered a reduction? Did this condition just begin four months ago and develop quickly? If not, how in the world did she get here from Thailand?

Cargo plane?
