Gina Carano is ignorant AF, but cancel culture is really getting ridiculous

There’s, like, 5 of us.

Oh, you mean American “leftists”? Sure, sure, lots of those. Good guys despite being capitalists, I’m sure you’ll fit right…

…never mind.

You misspelled “RW things”.

I’m unsure about this. On the one hand, saying the things she said could be enough to get a lot of people fired; on the other, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing.

But I suspect it’ll end up being like Charlie Sheen - it wasn’t just him saying shitty things, he was unpleasant to work with. If she’s saying this stuff in public after being warned then she might well be a total arsehole on set.

Her character was good, and she played it well - she wasn’t a throwaway actress playing any old role. It was really nice seeing a woman kick arse and look like they could kick arse.

Gyrate, I don’t think there’s actually that much of a difference in tone. I mean, they stated their legal position - they have no current contracts with her - but, if they supported her, they might have been a little less bald in their statement. “We look forward to working with her in the future” is the sort of thing often used for actors with drug problems - and sometimes it’s even true.

Eric’s wife.

Lara Trump is the wife of Eric Trump, and a toxic bleached blonde conservative woman, almost indistinguishable from Kayleigh McEnemy.

At some point during the campaign season, it was revealed that she and Don Jr’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, were each receiving $15,000.00 a month payments, laundered through an outside firm to avoid reporting requirements.

And she’s making noise about running for Richard Burr’s NC Senate seat.

The 80s called…

And to a conservative, a lying seditious anti-democratic traitor is a “great president”.

They absolutely do not. Conservatives are no more supportive of free markets and capitalism than liberals are; they are 100% behind any government spending, support, or market intervention that helps them.

Conservatives who are sufficiently educated to know what those words mean SAY they’re all for free markets, but really aren’t. Low-information conservatives aren’t really aware of what those terms mean or about anything to do with economics.

You mean as in kink? Pretty sure the vice squad doesn’t deal with that kind of thing any more.

Now squeezing them in a vise, though — that’s a compression tool not for use on anyone’s body parts.

i kin spel

I suspect this is from a previous thread where Ann compared conservatives’ gradual acclimation to vile behavior with inserting various vegetables up one’s ass. You start small, like with a carrot and gradually cram in bigger vegetables, and the upshot is she told octopus he had a watermelon up his ass.

Here’s the post, it’s actually on topic for this thread as well

Oh, yeah, I remember that one. That was pretty great.

And since it was more than a month ago, I rather suspect that octopus is the one who’s fixating on
…stuff.

You’re forgetting that there’s two kinds of Republicans - there’s the ones that have been and continue to be rubes to the great orange semi-cogent Cheeto, then there’s the astute businessmen who also prey on them and would like some time to become like the great orange semi-cogent Cheeto. There’s a butt-load of Republicans out there with money - they’re the ones short-selling GameStop (and pleading with the government to cover their losses on their personal grift), or preaching the Prosperity Gospel (proof that there is no God - Jim Bakker hasn’t been struck by lightning and is still preaching), or losing money on oil in Texas and still being elected President or…

Remember - for every Buffet, there’s a Koch. (not initially intended, but worked out) There’s a shit-ton of money on the right, and they prefer to invest it to make more money, that’s how we end up with the CFSG.

Clay-Doh’s hoe…?

These Republicans seem like very scary goblins. They have 0% of disposable income? Sounds inaccurate. They are all stupid? Where do you buy those brushes? They seem very wide.

You can’t refute someone by making up something they didn’t say.

Did you read her post? What am I misrepresenting?

You are quite likely the worst possible person to try to refute the accusation that conservatives are dishonest morons.

I dunno. Could it be the one claim you actually made?

There’s nothing in her post that says anything remotely like that. It has nothing at all to do with her post. All she did was point out that Republicans are hypocritical when dealing with money.

@Miller is right. You can’t play stupid like this, and then get all upset at people calling Republicans stupid.

I’m glad that degrading other people allows you to have a positive self image.
