More seriously, I wish he would return to his threads, because I’d like to try and understand what the hell he’s thinking. Just because I don’t agree with someone doesn’t mean I don’t want to know their logic. Besides, his threads tend to start good conversations (when people decide to do more than just jump on his ass), but I think they would be enriched if he would fuckin’ respond to what people are saying. He helps fight ignorance, even if it’s not his own.
In short, I want to see him stay around, but the hit and run behaviour has got to go.
He’s really a good person most of the time… you just don’t know him like we do! You don’t see how sweet he is to us when nobody else is around. Okay, yes, he hit us in the past, a couple of times, but that wasn’t really him. And he’s trying really hard to change… in a way it’s partly our fault, really… we need to be there more for him, and try harder to help him change…

Is the sign-up sheet for temporary troll designees posted yet? Are there any criteria (minimum/maximum monthly post count, at least 5 pittings within the last two years, at least one mod warning)? Can we draft other posters?
Last time I checked, it was considered poor form to start a thread and then not come back to it. Especially when it becomes a habit with one particular poster.
Will this rule apply to all forums or just Pit threads? Does creating the OP and then making one rebuttal count as enough appearances? What if they create an OP and then an immediate subsequent posting?
And, damn it, I like trolls! And banned people! And band people! We really should have a Best Of Troll/Banned Doper thread for the benefit of all recent members. We’ve missed out on a lot of entertainment over the years. Everyone likes a freakshow, right?

Yes, but you have more than thirty-one thousand posts. Pretty clearly, posting is something you do a lot of. Those of us who post less often may have a rather different perspective.
